    Are there alternate routes?
Due to heavy traffic, you MAY be re-routed. Please follow the Kent County Sheriff's Department recommended routes below: - If you are traveling Northbound, you will be routed to Post Drive. Exit right off of Post Drive, take a right onto Samrick Avenue, and then right on to West River Drive. - If you are traveling Southbound, you will be routed to Ann Street. Exit right off of Ann Street, take a right on Turner Avenue and then right on to West River Drive.
How can my visit be more enjoyable?
Dimming your lights, if able. Maintaining a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you. Moving over to the right if you are feeling rushed so the vehicle behind may pass. (Our busier nights make the above more difficult).
Can I get out and view the displays?
Unfortunately, no. Guests have never been allowed to exit their vehicles in the drive-thru area for safety reasons. With this year's circumstances, it's important that everyone stays within their vehicles to keep other guests and our staff safe. In addition, our insurance policy does not allow anyone to exit their vehicles.
How long does it take to go through the light show?
Everyone travels through the light displays at a different pace due to traffic and weather.  Typically, ½ an hour is a good amount of time to set aside whether you are driving or taking the Memory Lane Train.
    What are your busiest nights?
Our busiest nights of traffic are historically at the weekends.  Expect lines on these nights, use the restroom before arriving, have plenty of gas in your car, and please have payment ready upon reaching the gates. To reduce time and save, purchase your ticket on our website while you are in line.
    Are you open on holidays?
    Yes! We are open Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year's Eve. Nov 25th - Jan 2nd | Sun - Thurs 5:30 - 9:30 pm Fri - Sat 5:30 - 10:00 pm
What payment types do you allow?
Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
When do you take your last drive-thru vehicle?
Gates close at 9:30 during the weekdays and 10:00 on weekends.  You can still get in if you are in line. If you are going through at closing time we will not shut the lights off on you.
Can I rent the Memory Lane Train for a group or party?

Yes! We offer group train rentals for $250. The train seats 20 adults comfortably, and small children may sit on laps for free. If you are interested in renting the train for your group please call our ticket manager at 616.745.9955.

    Are pets allowed?
Your family pet is allowed to travel the drive-thru show with you.
Can we take pictures or video the light displays?
Yes! Feel free to take as many pictures as you wish.  The driver of any vehicle must not use a phone to take pictures or video while driving. You cannot leave your vehicle to take a photo.
How many lights will I see?
There are over a million lights and 50 animated displays for almost 2 miles.  We are 100% LED lit now!
How many people can I bring?
Cost is per carload in your family vehicle for the fee.  (i.e. car, minivan, SUV, truck).
    What’s new this year?
More lights, more tunnels and more animated displays! Plus, the display design contest, which allows you to help create the show!
